Well, last Wednesday was my Birthday and I was lucky enough to get an iPod!
I am really enjoying it. Like my sister said, the iPod is like the world's greatest mix tape. Coming from someone who made numerous mix tapes in the 80's and 90's, I really appreciate that line of thinking.
I walked through Giant on Thursday with my iPod on and I almost didn't mind being there and doing food shopping. I cleaned the house this morning listening to the strangest musical combinations (O.A.R.->The Little Mermaid->Green Day->Yeshiva Boy's Choir...). My kid were home and they enjoyed watching their mother looking like a fool singing and dancing around the house.
My only concern is that I will prematurely lose my hearing, because I really enjoy listening to music loudly. Please don't let my father read that. Between all the weddings I've been to and the occasional concert, he thinks that I will be deaf by 40 (yes, he wears earplugs to weddings). Well, here's to 11 more great years of musical enjoyment!
