Every blogger goes through it. Some more than others. I don't know if it is a self-preservation mechanism or something else entirely, but I wonder if there is some kind of psychological reason why we go through blogging dry spells. It isn't like I have fewer opinions to share and it isn't like I haven't seen anything noteworthily funny on the web to post, but lately I am just not in the mood.
Oh well. In the journal-esque blogging that I have come to do over the past few weeks, I can update this thing on my condition. I appear to be a trend setter. There have been numerous "copy-cat injuries" popping up in Baltimore (most notably from a couple I know who have *always* followed my lead in trends and fashion--just joking) and even though I haven't gotten the neck brace "bedazzled" yet, I can spot the envy on friends' and strangers' faces a mile away.
But seriously folks, the pain fluctuates. I went back to the surgeon on friday and he said the reflexes looked bad again but we are going to continue to wait and see. In the meantime, still no driving- so if you see a crazy looking woman walking up and down Greenspring Avenue with a neck brace talking to herself, that would be me.
Finally, do me a favor, ask Greg how he is doing please.

Posted by: Jewboy at June 20, 2007 03:43 PMI know. Between me, you, alanlaz, and lanie, it is pathetic. There used to be something to read daily but now we're lucky if any of us put one thing out a week...
Posted by: peninah at June 20, 2007 03:56 PMYeah, and me.
Posted by: aishel at June 21, 2007 04:22 PMI think we can come up with slogans to put on the neck braces. some suggestions:
1. whacha ya looking at!
2. If you ask, I will kill.
3. you wish your girlfriend/boyfriend was hot etc. (but seriously, we are way way past this point)
4. you should've seen the other guy.
5. (or in your case) Yes! it was me at the Harry Potter Bus without my Kids.
5. (everyone should feel free to come up with their own suggestions)
Or better yet, sell the space for ads. I am sure Greg would not turn down the free ad space. Just thinking outside the box.
