The Most Ridiculous Sign in Kosher Baltimore

I was driving down Reisterstown Road this morning when I noticed what must be a new sign in front of Kosher Bite (you remember- the people who brought you "Number one in U.S. and Overseas" and "95% of our customers are satisfied!"). I don't have a camera phone- otherwise I would have taken a picture of the ridiculousness of it. I can't remember the exact wording on the sign but let's say that I snorted so loud I almost burst a tire.

Here is my mission/challenge. The first person to post the wording on the sign correctly in the comments will get a prize (I am lying- really I will only acknowledge you) and the first person to e-mail me (pennygersh at yahoo dot com) a picture of the sign (that you can take on your camera phone) will also get an acknowledgement as well as the picture posted in my next post or an edited version of this one.

Come on folks- take one for the team. I need you to do this for me.

In line with what was going on in the home country, Kosher Bite will host the “Jewish Hamburger Denial Conference.” There will be representatives from many organizations including the ultra-orthodox Rebbe McDonald, who believes that all kosher restaurants are blasphemous are the cause of the world’s ills.

LOL. But do you know what the sign says?

I don't think there really is an ultra-orthodox Rebbe McDonald. ;)

I lways loved how they advertised the best in American, Israeli, Russina, Mexican, Italian, Dutch, French, German, Iranian, Iraqi, Swiss, Australian, Austrian, Hungarian, and Canadian cuisine.

What did the sign say??????

I love it that my favorite food is now an ethnic cuisine. Ranking up there with Chinese, American, Russian, and Israeli, you can also enjoy fresh fish from the clear waters of the land of SUSHI.

Basically I was hoping that someone else would do the legwork for me since I haven't had a chance to drive by there again (THANKS readers- you have all let me down:| ) But seriously- Ari- basically Jewboy and DM have made reference to the sign- it basically says "For all your Chinese, American, Russian, Israeli and Sushi needs! Kosher Bite! "

It is crazy. When will they learn that you can't be everything to everyone all the time?!?

I remember when a rotisserie restaurant was about to open, KB got wind of it and bought an electric rotisserie just so they could say that they had food as good as the food made on the real wood burning one at the new place that was about to open.

DM, didn't they only start serving schwarma after Sabra Grille opened?

Posted by: aishel at January 11, 2007 01:01 AM

aishel-yes. Also, if I remember correctly, he went to buy Szechuan Dynasty after David Chu's opened. I may have that wrong but that is how I remember it.

Yes, and in light of the new dairy cuisine about to open in Greenspring, we can surely expect Kosheruccinos, featuring the first ever biteaninis, it's a pannini and a bite burger in one - can't wait!
