I think I am starting to like these confession things.
Anyway, today's confession is this. I can't throw out pasta. I just don't have it in me. Whenever there is leftover pasta on a plate (be it one of my children's, my husbands, or mine) I have that undeniable urge to "give it a good home." This happens even if I am not hungry.
I know it is not good to throw out and waste food. But I can't imagine that my scavaging plates of leftover Wacky Mac is a good thing either.
If anyone knows of a 12 step program for me, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Number 2: HOW WAS SYTYCD?????
Posted by: peninah at October 29, 2006 08:22 PMThere is nothing wrong with eating any amount, leftover or otherwise, of wacky mac. Trust me on this one. Rid yourself of the guilt.
Pardonare
Posted by: yehupitz at October 29, 2006 08:41 PMYehupitz- Thanks for the advice- I agree with you, but don't equate my confession with guilt (I am not Catholic). My confession is simply that. A Confession. No guilt here. I will let you know when one of my confessions should be guilt inducing.
Posted by: peninah at October 29, 2006 08:45 PMI'll take it one step further. We sometimes put leftover pasta in the fridge, forget about it, and then discover it only to find that it is full of cotton-looking growths. A) What are those growths, mold? B)if you're going to preserve pasta, keep it front-and-center in the fridge!
Posted by: JGG at October 30, 2006 04:32 AMI did not actually go to the show so you have to ask Tobey/Esther/Yocheved. I think the guy have thought we were weird if we were taking his picture.
Posted by: Avrumi at October 30, 2006 11:05 AMMarak- Yes it is mold. It happens to me as well. I have some wacky mac sitting in the back of the fridge (I didn't eat this as leftovers because I had planned on putting it in Eden's lunch and forgot about it). I think it is two years old. I generally work under the assumption that if I ignore something in my fridge long enough, eventually it will dissapear on its own.
Abe-did you ever hear of a camera phone? those things are pretty stealthy!
