Over the first days of yom tov, my family decided that when my father becomes the next head of Sanhedrin (don't ask, its my family), after he abolished the kitniyos issue, the first thing we would want him to do would be to make Pesach last for one month just every four years.
I have to say that today, on the fifth day of pesach, I am definitely rethinking this. I better go call my father before he does anything drastic.

Posted by: Diana at April 17, 2006 08:37 PMWhile he's at it, just have him declare that everyone is sefardi. That should guarantee at least a plurality if not a majority. Hell, he might even get a popular revolution!

Posted by: soccer dad at April 18, 2006 01:23 AMI was thinking about that earlier this week. Not a month though, 2 weeks of Pesach every other year. This Yom Tov hasn't been too bad though. That might be because we're eating all our meals at the Gershman's.
Posted by: Lanie at April 18, 2006 08:33 AMI really don't think I can handle matzah for more than 8 days (and I only eat it on Yom Tov, not chol hamoed). See ya tomorrow at Rena's!
