I should have worked for Capital One!
Finally, after much googling and the like, I found out who the "Chubs" guy, who co-stars on the Capital One commercials with David Spade, is. You might also remember him from the hysterical Volkswagen commercial as the guy who had a bit too much fun test driving the car and the most recent Enterprise Rental Commercial (which is not funny at all). His name is Nate Torrence and I just can't seem to get enough of him. He is a great character actor and it would be great if he expanded his acting repertoire past commercials and occasional guest spots on TV.
In the meantime, I will think of him whenever I say "No", when I drive my Volkswagen (ok, that is a lie, I don't own a Volkswagen-whatever), when I use my Capital One card (or Citibank or Chase), and when I drive an Enterprise car rental. Oh TV, how you enrich mylife!
