Get Rid of the Fuzz Factor (a.k.a. why I am a sucker for advertising)

I came home the other day and I told Greg that I had bought a new tube of Colgate Total toothpaste. We've all seen the commercials, it is supposed to get rid of the "fuzz factor" on our teeth. I told Greg as much. He laughed and reminded me once again that I am a huge sucker for advertising campaigns.

As I walked into the bathroom I thought to myself that Greg was wrong. This was different. I had really been feeling that I needed a new toothpaste (besides the fact that we were down to the very last squeezable drop in the current tube) and I wanted to try something fresh and new that would keep my teeth feeling good for a few hours after I brushed. I just happened to see the commercial at the right time in my life.

Yep, I held onto that righteous indignation all the way into the bathroom. And it kept going as I placed the new tube of toothpaste on the sink. And it came to a screeching halt as I threw away the old tube of...Colgate Total. *Me looking sheepish*
