which show are you guys going to go to? Maybe we'll carpool?
Posted by: ravomess at November 5, 2004 01:00 AMThat sounds like a great idea. I am not sure which show we are going to because Benj usually decides that. From what I remember, in the past he usually gave tickets to his close friends one night and family the next. But y'know what- go ahead and get tickets for one of the nights (I am thinking the second night will be better) since they will be sold out fast and we will make sure to go that night. kay?
Posted by: peninah at November 5, 2004 07:50 AMI'll go ahead and buy 2 tix for the second night - if Benj should just "happen" to have some extras for us as well then I am sure that ebay or Craigslist will be happy to handle the task of letting someone else enjoy the night as well!
Posted by: ravomess at November 5, 2004 09:10 AMSounds good. I will speak to Benj about the second night- as for the extra tickets- who knows. Y'wanna drive?
Posted by: peninah at November 5, 2004 09:16 AMI've been trying for the last 20 minutes and can't get tix - could it have sold out so quickly?
Posted by: ravomess at November 5, 2004 10:20 AMOK - it finally went through! Sure, we'll drive.
Posted by: ravomess at November 5, 2004 10:50 AMWhat's OAR?
It's been 20 some years since I listened to HFS on a regular basis. So I really don't know the scene anymore. And did I understand from one of your posts that you or Greg was related to someone in the band?
Yes, Greg's brother, Benj is the bass player. O.A.R. stands for ....of a revolution. I don't really know how to describe it. their website is www.ofarevolution.com I think you can listen to some of their music on the site. The music is pretty unoffensive with a pretty positive message.
