I hate crickets

It's bad enough that they have somehow managed to enter my home in small groups of 2 and 3 over the past week, but when I can't sleep at 3 in the morning, there is nothing more annoying than the chirping chorus.

Note to self: Get the screen door fixed. Argh.

I was contemplating a blog of my own about crickets last week. The annoying thing about them is that they can sense your presence and shut up just when you're about to figure out where they are. I feel your pain!

Ug, crickets! I hate crickets! They are gross and creepy and loud. I used to come home and find them on my pillow or on my clothes. Spray some bug spray around the perimeter of the room. That should take care of them.

I went nuts around 2:30 last night and killed a whole bunch. It helped not at all.

Greg, obviously since I wrote the post at 3:30:). I started getting evil. Right before I went back to bed, I took a cricket and closed it into a ziplock bag hoping it would suffocate to death. I think that is just plain mean. oh well.

My brother used to catch them and put them in those plastic Easter eggs that come apart in the middle. Every now and then he would forget about one and the very next Easter we would open an Easter egg to find a decomposing, dead cricket. It was gross.
