Overheard (by me) while standing on line in the post office this morning. Man on cellphone on a business call:
"She can be really tough. She is going to be inanimate about getting her way."
Sheesh. I almost laughed out loud- I rarely do that.

Then the other day one of my clients told me he was afraid he might has "contacted" a disease rather than contracted. Sometimes, I don't know how people get by in life...
