And now another edition of the household products Peninah likes or dislikes. You may remember when I reviewed various Glad and Saran products. Today I will be reviewing Bounty Select-A-Size paper towels as well as Febreze and Electrasol Gel Pacs.
OK, here are my opinions:
Bounty Select-A-Size: Love it. I use paper towels for just about everything around the kitchen; spill picker upper, sponge, makeshift napkin, wrapper for things in the microwave, etc. I love it that I can choose whether I need a big or small paper towel for each job. I rarely even use the large size anymore so I feel like I am getting more for my money from each roll. I highly recommend it.
Febreze: Still not sure about this product. It is supposed to freshen up all the fabrics in your home (i.e. carpet, upholstery, etc.). It definitely does a good job at covering up certain odors in the home (the lovely stench of the rug in the 4 year old boy's bathroom for example) but I am just not sure if I like the actual smell it is covering up the bad smell with. I will say this, it does its job.
And finally, Electrasol Gel Pacs: These are little liquid detergent filled plastic caplet thingies that you put in your dishwasher. They are definitely easy to use and not messy at all. However, since I started using them I have noticed that my glasses are a lot more water spotted than usual. Not sure if that is coincidental or not. The jury is still out. I'll keep you posted.
