COME ON to the city on DOWN

'Price Is Right' announcer dies
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Rod Roddy, the flashy-dressed announcer on "The Price Is Right" whose booming, jovial voice invited lucky audience members to "Come on down!" for nearly 20 years, died Monday. He was believed to have been 66.

Full Story

How sad. First John Ritter, then Rerun, now Rod Roddy. My childhood TV icons are all dying. May Rod be calling down over-anxious, jumping up and down, weird t-shirt wearing game show players in the big soundstage in the sky. RIP, Rod.

You should rename your blog to some catchy euphmism for dead people. Something like, You Can't Take it with you, or something.

My whole blog or just this post? Do you think I talk about death too much?

I meant the whole thing.

I'll let you answer that question: What is the first (and possibly only) section of the Sun you read?

I rest my case.
